When I was a kid and couldn’t fall asleep I’d tip-toe into the living room where my parents kept the photo albums in a bookcase. I sneak one back to my bedroom and carefully examine each photograph by flashlight under my blanket. I loved seeing our family moments captured on film. My favorites were the photos from before I was born... My mom leaning against the back of a car, her arm up and fingers poised in a peace sign. My father, with long hair and a gigantic 1970s mustache, cutting my uncle’s hair in his first barber shop. I loved unveiling the mystery of my parent’s lives before me. But, it made me sad that all of those meaningful defining moments were hidden away on a bookshelf.

HOW IT WORKS:

*Once you make your purchase I’ll email you with details and you’ll send me a high-resolution color photo. I’ll draw and watercolor your photo, digitally color, sign + date it on the back, of and ship it to you. 

FEATURES:

*Your custom watercolor will be on 9x12 acid-free, 140 lb. watercolor paper. The actual image will be 8x10 and you can trim the full sheet to fit an 8x10 frame or keep it full-size and use a larger frame.

*All portraits arrive unframed and unmated. 

SHIPPING:

*All custom portraits ship in 2-3 weeks from the date of purchase and are packaged in a clear bag with sturdy backing board and shipped in a flat mailing envelope.  

*I offer flat rate shipping to anywhere in the U.S. which is based on the number of products you order. Shipping will be calculated when you checkout.

* This is NOT a digitally produced or photo realistic exact copy of your photo but rather a custom one-of-a-kind original piece of art created just for you. I’ll interpret the background, details, colors etc. with my own artistic style (this means that if there’s a forest in the background I may depict it as a few trees and colors may not be exactly the same as they are in your photo).
